I like Yaks; I still remember the feeling I got in week one when my guildies and I finally got out of Ascalon and wondering if we were close to the end of the game. BOY, were we ever surprised. It still holds a warm place in my heart and it has one of the few remaining arenas.

Maguuma Stade. Little did we know when Prophecies first came out that this beautiful outpost was only a hop, skip, and a jump from Rata Sum and all the wonderful adventures of Magus Stones and Riven Earth. All of the jungle outposts were sort of magic to me, really.
Problem with this question is that there are just so many excellent outposts that deserve great praise. The artists who worked on GW really put themselves into it and it shows.

So true. Talking about the forest also reminded me how much I love Quarrel Falls too! I keep forgetting about all these little outposts that I used to love.

Even though i practiclly live in Lions Arch nowadays my fav spot for organizing storage and just chillin out is Port Sledge in the shiverpeaks or Grotto cause of the cool snare effect it has when you enter. always thought that was cool.

Old favorite pre-eotn would be Marhan's Grotto, then once EotN came out, Gadd's Encampment (because the river is just like one where I used to live)

For nostalgia purposes I'd have to say Deldrimor War Camp, but for set up and scenery and such, I'd say Henge of Denravi for me

I like the location of the Xunlai Chest there. Beaches are nice.
My favourite outposts are any of the Shing Jea Island ones and Bai Passu Reach (it rains there).
There are a couple in the Crystal Desert I like as well.

Agree wholeheartedly ^^ Maguuma Stade is a very very close second, the scenery and music are very zen.

Sanctum Cay - I had the amazing luck of meeting, not one, but two, beautiful, russian teenage girls there over the years. Just me and them on a quiet, weekday, afternoon with the lads (H&H).
One of them is still one of my very best friends in the whole world. My wife found out about the other.

And some of them seem like players from the 2006 or so times, pre-wiki.
